• Neuroscientist - Intern

  I studied neuroscience at Université de Montréal (B.Sc, 2020). Among other things, I learned about the biology of the nervous system, neuropathologies, neuroscientific research methods, and neuroAI.

  During my internship at the Kinesiology Laboratory of the University of Montreal, I explored cervical dystonia, a symptom of Parkinson's Disease. Working with cutting-edge neuro-kinesiological technology ignited my curiosity about innovative tools and the impact of neuroscience on everyday lives.

  I developed a growing thirst for human connections and creativity. I discovered user experience (UX). Amid a global pandemic, I began my master's in User Experience in a business context at HEC Montreal.
  
  My UX professional journey began at Tech3Lab (T3L), where I worked with a multidisciplinary team on various projects. I gained skills in resource and time management and learned to leverage scientific literature to keep up with industry advancements.

• Junior UX Researcher

  2021—2022
  Initially an intern and UX research assistant, T3L promoted me to “Junior UX Researcher.” During these two years, I conducted, supervised, and designed various user tests, both remotely and in person, notably with CAE Inc., National Bank of Canada, and Dbox.
  
  My two master's research projects spanned two years, focusing on multimedia learning and the use of various modalities for instructional design of simulations aimed at training MDs and pilots. I worked closely with stakeholders at CAE Inc. (AI Lead, developer, designer) and the team at T3L (research assistants, statistician, programmer, directors). I presented my research findings at the Human-Computer Interaction International conference in July 2021.

• Globe Trotter & Teaching Yoga Internationally
  2022—2024
  I graduated in August 2022 in the Philippines and embarked on a transformative two-year journey through Asia, Western Australia, and British Columbia. In Rishikesh, India, I taught yoga and later initiated "The Exmouth Exchange" in Australia, where weekly workshops by special guests provided the local community with accessible and engaging learning experiences. Over the years, I’ve cultivated a growing space for yoga in my life, embracing it as a path to accept the present moment and foster a loving community. I currently teach at two Montreal-based studios: Studio Sage and Club Hippocrate.

  2024—
  In June 2024, I returned to Montreal and aimed to refine my skills in UX design and visual design. I began taking online courses while launching my career as a freelance UX specialist.
  
  My portfolio is a testament to my past experiences, supporting the optimization of seamless user experiences with a desire to balance visual aesthetics, user needs, and entrepreneurial goals. From the outset of my career, I feel determined to democratize the implementation of UX processes in businesses and to represent user interests.
